The objective of our project and network is to refine, harmonise and promote the use of vascular ageing measures, in order to improve clinical practice and to reduce the burden of CVD globally. Young researchers can also contribute to this goal and it is very important to support communication of research results in international scientific meetings.
PhD students and early career investigators with a primary affiliation in an inclusiveness target country (ITC): Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Republic of North Macedonia, Republic of Serbia and Turkey (see COST Website on Excellence and Inclusiveness), can apply for these ITC grants in order to present their results related to vascular ageing and arterial stiffness in international science and technology related conferences. An open call will be launched soon on this website, stating information about the application process, evaluation rules with mandatory and additional ranking criteria and available funding.
