In opposition to many EU-funded projects, it is possible to participate in an ongoing COST Action. Thus, the COST Association speaks about the ‘openness’ of COST Actions.
There are several options how to participate in VascAgeNet:
-
As a Management Committee (MC) Member:
The MC is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and management of an Action. For each Action, up to two representatives per COST Member can be nominated to the MC. The full list of all VascAgeNet MC Members can be found here. To participate as an MC, please contact the COST National Coordinator (CNC) of your country. -
As a Working Group (WG) Participant:
The WGs perform the tasks required by the Action to fulfil the objectives of the network project plan, as described in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). To participate as a working group member, please use the join VascAgeNet form. -
As a participant in Action activities:
VascAgeNet will provide opportunities to get involved in activities through training schools, short-term scientific missions, ITC Grants, VM Grants, workshops, conferences, etc. For more information, see the dedicated sub-sections on these topics.
-
As a non-COST country participant:
For participation from a COST Near Neighbour Countries (NNC) or COST International Partner Countries (IPC), check the details on the Cost Page on Global Networking. Furthermore, please use the contact form to get in touch with VascAgeNet.
